Mumbai, April 2019:  Neel Samandar has been in news for all the right reasons, be it crossing millions of views or the performances by the cast and crew.

National Award winner Director “ Pradeep Sarkar” has led the team as the captain of the ship and we all know how he has an eye for even the minutest details. He is an artist who tries with all his might to make his art perfect.

Costume designer Malvika Bajaj was given the task to design costumes that match the aesthetics and align with the subject line. The entire team made frequent trips to the Andamans to understand the feel that can be used. Dancing shadows team led by Isha.S.Kumar and Rahul Bagga wanted to maintain the perfect synergy of the reality and the fiction. And to create the same realistic magic on screen the team decided to get costumes made up of gunny bags.

Neel Samandar Inspired from a true story based on Andamans  has reputed names like Richa Chadda as the female lead, Meet Bros as the Composers and Benny Dayal and Prakriti Kakar having lend their voices. Stalwarts like Pradeep Sarkar and Swanand Kirkire have directed and written the the same respectively. The music video marks debut of Isha.S.Kumar and Rahul Bagga as producers and this is their maiden project under the banner of Dancing Shadows Productions. It is a musical drama that has a pinch of action and thrill to it and the project has already become a success with more than million views.

Coming from Journalism and Content background, Producer Isha S Kumar, says “ Being from journalism background my job was to infuse the realistic angle to the music video and wanted every minute details to be kept in mind.Malvika Bajaj understood our and Mr. Pardeep Sarkar’s idea and helped us in creating the costume”

According to Producer Rahul Bagga, “We wanted to create the entire feel of Andamans and a visual treat for our viewers and thus to give a realistic feel to the music video, we decided to go with the costumes made of gunny sacks, and Richa Chadda carried the costume with a flair”

Malvika Baja shared her experience saying “It was a difficult material to use in terms of costumes as it would lose its shape time n again because it’s a very lightly woven material. So keeping that in mind the job became a bit difficult and Mr. Pradeep Sarkar wanted the fit of the costume to be perfect. So we did couple of fitting on Richa Chadda so as to make sure the costume fits her perfectly. Different kind of beads and sea shells were used to accessories the outfit and make it look from the tribe in Andaman.”

Richa Mishra Changing the world, one soul at a time

Richa Mishra who has been working towards teaching and development of the underprivileged children says that these children are the real source of strength for her, her ultimate Goal is to set up a preschool where she can admit at least 1000 kids so that these talented children would get a direction in life.

How did you discover, teaching to be a perfect profession for you?

Making my career in teaching and opting it as a profession has probably been the best decision of my life because it suits my personality. I feel that very sense of satisfaction while teaching young budding minds. I began my teaching career as a tuition teacher and now I’ve crossed milestones. I’ve worked for schools, NGOs, and tuitions too. During those initial days when I started my teaching career I just had one student and gradually now with the changing times, I teach more than about 100 students.

What kind of hurdles did you face, in pursuing your profession?

talking about hardship there had been none. But indeed I’ve dealt with a lot of social judgments and criticism while having walked this road of humanism. People have always pointed fingers at me saying, “how can you go places with dust and dirt wherein you get nothing worth the hard work in return”, “ at least maintain some standards”. For every criticism, I got I even got appreciations. ultimately the negativity people pass on to me are the biggest and the only hurdles in my way.

Tell us something about your inspiration?

My inspiration is my students. The happiness I see on my students face after when they take the class and learn something is the greatest source of inspiration I can ever get. And it’s the same force that drives me and takes me to the path of achieving better day by day.

Did you ever feel like quitting?

teaching is not just my profession but it also is my ultimate passion and this could be a reason for me that I’ve never thought of quitting. My dream of setting up my own preschool where I can admit at least 1000 kids is the one that keeps me going and as far as quitting what I got myself into, it’s never been in my list of choices.

What urged you to expose yourself to the social area of the world?

Teaching these underprivileged kids has been a fine source of goodness. These kids have ample amount of talent there is someone who’s good at singing, some at dancing, some at academics and some at drawing. The bitter truth is that even after having this much talent just because they lack resources they aren’t able to achieve all they could have. Investing a bit of my life for these innocent souls helping them develop these qualities that are best I can put my life into use for.

What changes do you wish to see on life’s you touch?

change is the only constant and that always brings out the best version of yourself. When I think of changes and that too in my students all I wish for is that I never want anyone of them should ever feel hesitant in showcasing any of their abilities. Moreover, the only motive of my life is to provide the best to them and I always wish and pray for their success.

What contribution do you expect from a common man, to make our society a better place?

in this scenario and current time where every other person can afford a life with all the facilities, where people earn a handsome amount every month invest some in the lives of these students can help us shape their future in better ways.

What’s the achievement you are striving for?

My ultimate goal is to open my own school which I want to run single-handedly. I don’t want a partner in this venture because I’ve seen many organizations wherein the end there are tiffs due to money, so I want to manage everything by myself and fulfill my dream.

How You want to change this place and what is your dream with Abhi Kalpana?

I want to teach these kids and make them capable so that tomorrow even they can teach many such children and show them the way…And I want to take Abhi Kalpana at such a level that everyone knows about this organization, and I’ll put in as much time as possible for this organization daily.

The WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley hit the street, with over 600 women

Rally to the Valley creates record, becomes the biggest rally ‘for women, by women’

The WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley was a mega hit, with over 600 women competing in this unique rally in Mumbai on Sunday. Ms Amrita Phadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister  was the chief guest.  The WIAA Women’s Rally to the Valley created a record of sorts here on Sunday, becoming arguably one of the biggest rallies ‘for women, by women’ in the world.
Over 600 ladies competed in the annual rally presented by JK Motorsports, but it became unique as the entire event was conceived, planned and executed by women.
Right from the special guests, including Ms Amruta Fadnavis, wife of Maharashtra Chief Minister, and activist lawyer Abha Singh, to the officials and marshals, everybody was a lady.

India’s top woman racer Sneha Sharma led the entourage, driving the zero car and setting the tempo for the rally.
“We are delighted to be part of such an exciting event,” JK Motorsport’s president Sanjay Sharma said. “We support a number of rallies for women but this one is special as everything was done by ladies,” he added.
“We have been organizing this rally for many years now, with the primary aim of empowering women while also propagating road safety,” WIAA president Nitin Dossa said. “One of the ladies came up with this idea, to make it truly for women, by women, and we thought that there couldn’t have been a better way to show our support for women,” he added.
The over 600 ladies decorated their cars, totaling 130, and dressed themselves up for the occasion, rendering a festive atmosphere at the venue.
Like every year, the ladies celebrated their emancipation and rising eminence but the favourite theme this year was patriotism. A number of them wore it on their sleeves, literally, turning up in armed forces uniforms and with slogans supporting the country.
A team of four ladies, looking dashing as air force pilots, won the maximum applause while a couple of others even took the trouble of making their cars look like armoured vehicles. One of the cars screamed, ‘How’s the Josh?’ while a number of them proudly displayed ‘I love India’.
The TSD rally set off at 7am from Omkar 1973 and traversed past the city’s major landmarks, including Century Bazaar, Siddhi Vinayak, Shivaji Park, Dadar Plaza, Eastern Express Highway, Vashi before culminating at Amby Valley.
Spectators lined up along the streets to see the freshly painted cars zip past them. The winners will be announced on Monday.

Mrs. Asia Woman of the Universe Dr. Naavnidhi K Wadhwa attends Global Concord Conference and Awards

Mumbai, April 2019: Mrs. Asia Woman of the Universe Dr. Naavnidhi K Wadhwa attends Global Concord Conference and Awards held in Mumbai.  The conference was about issues related to woman empowerment in which renowned Panellists were invited to speak up.  She was felicitated by well-known leader of Republican Party of India and a member of Rajya Sabha ‘Mr. Ramdas Athawale’.

Sharing her experience, Dr. Naavnidhi K Wadhwa  says,” If you constantly  do something silently, you will see the results and there are some people who take it as a challenge. It is very subjective person to person.  Actually if we see, there is no need of woman empowerment because woman herself is one power. There is a power inbuilt in her which can give birth and nurture next generation. But what is necessary is the awareness, importance of education because awareness comes only through education.  And the true meaning of woman empowerment lies when we make man aware that woman is not an object. She is also an human being. She has equal rights for everything.

1. Thoughts on amendment of  SC/ST?

Answer:  One thing is very clear Reservation when it came initially it was for 10 years. After 70 years, I was thinking it would have been good for the country if merit was also given some place. That is my personal perception that merit should have been there. So what happened initially police started misusing the law.  Like in dowry case – 498 A  there is a registration of the case and lead to immediate arrest So even in the SC /ST act since it’s a cognizable, non bailable offence so many arrests were done. But Supreme court said arrest will be done only after the enquiry and the investigation will be done only by a senior rank officer. The opposition spread the message that you are trying to dilute the SC /ST act. Since this is an election year so it is more of an election politics that the government came out with an ordinance; with a law saying there should be arrest done. It should be as it is. The arrest would be done. We shall not try to dilute the SC /ST act. There are two things one is the arrest issue and the second is 10% reservation which has been increased. 10% reservation which is being added from the upper class and who are not SC / ST. If you go on merit, arrest should be only done after the enquiry because so many cases there are property issues or anything Pple r  just using sc/ sct act. In Gujarat the manner in which this issue has been dealt it is fine. So the issue is why should there be any arrest without a proper verification or enquiry so  my stand is on it. Whatever is coming now it’s only because of election. SC/ST vote is very important; having said that government is only being swayed by  Vote politics.

2. You recently walked for a designer. Could you share your experience?

Ans. Shaina NC is a BJP leader and a famous designer. Everywhere she does this walk for cancer patients aid association and fund raising. She has been asking me for quite some time. This year somehow I saw the number of cancer cases are also increasing.  Survical cancer has increased, Breast cancers are detected in the world. One is India; 50 % of Breast Cancer is detected from India. People like us who are strong, who have strong mindset, who have a voice ,people like us can spread awareness, The main purpose is the detection. It is the only cure early detection is the only cure. Cancer is not something to be quiet about it. Don’t be shy. It can happen to anyone.

3. What motivates you?

Ans I am person who has always been committed and passionate about the work that I do. Even when I was working with the government, the kind of work that I did that was really appreciated. Even when during Lead India campaign, Times of India was doing final selection for the leader, I was posted in Lucknow. I ‘d installed full panel post offices. UP is such a traditional state where woman is still covered. I made it a post woman. There were postwoman were distributing letters. It is a great courageous thing to enter in a unknown house and deliver. I set up an example of leadership. During that time, I also got a scholarship from London school of Economics. Fighting for the truth and standing for it/. This what motivates me. Be it Salman Khan  hit and run case or AIB Knock out. I have taken up  all these cases with great conviction.

4. How do you manage your personal and professional life?

Ans: My children are grown up. My son is practicing law along with me in Mumbai High court. My daughter just graduated from national law school Bangalore. I have thought them good values. Kids have done very well in their life. They not only just good in academics but they have good family values.  At home also, we are a content and a happy family. We are not in the rat race of adding too many zeroes in our bank account. This is the reason I started Rann Samar foundation through which I empower women in rural area. I have adopted a village called Badora in Barabanki where women are thought computers. Now summer vacations are coming up  so I take classes for them. I do financial literacy. I also thought six months of computer courses in Lucknow Jail for convicts because once they come out of jail they should have a job. So the stigma is always there that  they are a convict so getting them into mainstream is very important. I am a criminal lawyer. Putting them behind bars is one thing and getting them into mainstream is equally important. So these are my convictions that is how we all work.

5.Thoughts about entering Urmila Matondkar?

Ans.  Im absolutely shocked. Does congress think that we as a society are  so dumb or illiterate that  anybody you put up and run the government. This shows the sad state of affairs of politics. Till now they had criminals in the parliament. 33% of MPS have criminal charges against them.
